Violin and Guitar performance
Our pupils who are learning to play violin and guitar will perform for us during Collective Worship on Monday 17th December, 9am.
Friends and family are welcome to join us.
End of term
Please be reminded that school closes for the Christmas break on Friday 21st December at 1.30pm.
Our Spring Term begins on Tuesday 8th January.
If you are buying new school shoes for your child, please remember that trainer-style shoes with sports logos eg Nike, are not allowed. Thank you.
Thank you to all parents whose children are at Breakfast Club for supporting the changes we have put in place this term.
If your child currently has a place at Breakfast Club, this will continue for the rest of the year – see separate letter for more info.
Infant Nativity and KS2 Christmas Concert
Thank you to everyone who has bought tickets for our Christmas productions.
Please bring your tickets on the day as most shows are sold out: Infants -Tuesday 18th December, 10am and 1.30pm; Juniors – Wednesday 19th December, 9.15am & 10.30am.
We are really enjoying reading the entries in our Advent Posada journal.
Thank you to everyone who has hosted the Holy Family so far.
This is a lovely way of sharing the Advent messages of love and hope.
Blessing of the Crib
On Thursday 20th December, our junior pupils will take part in an Advent service at church.
We will walk down to begin after mass at 9.40am.
Please do join us if you can, the service will last about 40mins.
We will return to school around 11am.
Please be reminded that pupils are not allowed to bring mobile phones into school.
This is part of our safeguarding procedures at St John’s.
If your child does bring a phone into school, we will contact you and ask you to collect it.
To celebrate the end of term and all the hard work completed by everyone, each class will have a party on Thursday 20th December after lunch.
Please ask your child for more details as arrangements for individual classes vary.
