School faith-life

Next week, Classes 3 and 7 will lead Collective Worship for us.

To link to Friendship and Kindness Week, they will focus on respect.

Commemorative oak tree

Please do come and look at our new oak tree, planted last week to commemorate the centenary of the end of WW1.

It’s near the front entrance next to the bike shed.

Council Meeting

Our School Council meets next week on Friday, we look forward to their comments and suggestions.

Friendship and Kindness Week

Thank you to everyone for all the very positive contributions to Friendship and Kindness Week.

Sports Report

Last week our girls’ football team played in a tournament and the boys played in the Hartley Cup.

All the children were well behaved and showed great team spirit.  Well done!

On line safety

Starting this week, we will be sending home a series of leaflets to encourage parents to help children to stay safe on line.

Look out today for information on Fortnite.

Please be reminded that pupils are not allowed to bring mobile phones into school.

This is part of our safeguarding procedures at St John’s.
