Car Park

Please may I remind everyone that the car park is for staff use only.  If you are coming onto the yard or into school with your child/children, please park on the streets nearby.  Please also be reminded that we have only one disabled bay available for blue badge holders only.  Thank you for your co-operation.

Cross Country

Very well done to our pupils who took part in cross country last week.  Congratulations especially to Joseph Willkinson, Connor Brogan, Harry Gildert and Ayaan Khan who all came in the top 25 and will represent Burnley in the regional finals! We are very proud of them.

Summer Class Trips

Thank you if you have returned your permission slip and voluntary contribution already.  Please call at the office if you need another copy of the letters.  Please note that if you have more than one child in school, a discounted rate is available for second or more children.

Polling Station

Our school is to be used as a polling station again next Thursday 23rd May.  School will be open as usual with Class 8 using Class 10 and the Computer Suite.  Thank you Mrs Stannard and Class 8.

Kwick Cricket

Some of our Yr5 & 6 girls will represent us at Lowerhouse Cricket Club in a Kwick Cricket tournament next Wednesday 22ndMay.  Letters have gone out to those pupils involved.

Leave during term-time

Please be reminded that, in line with our Attendance Policy, leave during term-time cannot be authorised for family holidays.

Governors’ Committee Meetings

Members of our Curriculum and Finance committees meet next on the 22ndMay.  They will review progress towards our current priorities.

Blessed Trinity – Yr 6

Members of staff from Blessed Trinity will be in school next Thursday 23rdMay in the morning, to speak to our Yr6 pupils.  This is part of the transition programme organised by Blessed Trinity to help prepare our Yr6 pupils for moving on.

Consultation – amalgamation of parishes

Please see the Parish Newsletter for information from Fr David about the consultation process regarding the amalgamation of our three parishes.  All are invited to a consultation meeting at Blessed Trinity on Tues 28thMay, 7pm if you can attend.

School opening hours

Please do not drop your child/children off at school before 8.30am unless they are booked into and attending Breakfast Club.  Thank you.
