School Faith-life

Next week we will focus on the life of St Paul in Collective Worship.  Please encourage your child to discuss what they have found out with you.

PTFA Meeting

Our PTFA meets on Monday (21st) at 3.15pm in school.  New members are always welcome, please do join us if you feel you can help in any way.

We welcome support with planning events and with help during events such as our school discos.

The Lazy Mondays

On Monday morning we welcome the Lancashire Music Service band, The Lazy Mondays, into school.

They will peform live in Collective Worship at 9am.  If, following their visit, your child is inspired to learn an instrument please contact us.

Class 1 Assembly

Family and friends of children in Class 1 are very welcome to join us in school on Friday 25th January, 10am when they will present their Spring Term Assembly to us.

Governor Committee Meetings

Our Curriculum and Finance Governor Committees meet next week on Wednesday 23rd January.

They will help us evaluate progress made in school last term.

We have a netball coach in school next week who will work with some of our Yr 5 & 6 pupils.

This is provided through our membership of the Burnley Sports Partnership.

House Winner

The winning house for the second half of the Autumn Term was St George.  Well done to all those pupils in St George for collecting the most house points.

Valentine’s Disco

Our PTFA Valentine’s Disco is on Wednesday 6th February this year, 5-6.30pm.  Due to space restrictions, we are only able to make 100 tickets available – on a first come, first serve basis.  Costing £2.50, they will be on sale at breaktimes from Monday 21st January.

This includes refreshments.  We are very happy to supervise the children throughout the disco so you do not need to stay.  If you do choose to stay, we ask that you do not bring pre-school age children with you.

Thank you very much for your cooperation and support.
