Feast Day Celebrations

We will celebrate the Feast Day of St John the Baptist on Tuesday 25thJune.  Children will take part in celebratory activities including our picnic.

Dove Court

We have been invited to take part in an Arts session at Dove Court next Fri 28thJune.  A separate letter has gone home to pupils involved.

Summer Picnic

Please see above. If Juniors would like to join us for the picnic, please complete the slip and return to school with £2.10.  All Infants will receive a picnic lunch from the kitchen.  

Romero Catholic Academy Trust

Mr Mulrooney (Chair of Governors) and I will be available in the Hall 3-4pm during Drop-in on Monday 24thJune to answer any questions you may have about the Romero Trust. Please call in.

Food Club

Our Enrichment Programme continues this half-term with Food Club which started this week.  This is the first time we have run a club like this at St John’s – thank you to Miss Pitman and Mrs Hogg for organising it.  Thanks too to Miss Ilyas who succesfully ran our Science Club last half-term.

Yr 6 Mass at BTRCC

Our Year 6 Catholic Cluster Mass has been rearranged to next Monday 24thJune.  Our pupils will travel by coach and return to school by lunchtime – see separate letter for details.

Transition Day

On Thursday 27thJune, Yr 6 pupis will spend the day at their secondary schools.  We wish them well and are sure they will have an enjoyable day.

Football Festival

Some of our Yr 4 and 5 pupils will take part in a Football Festival next week on Wednesday 26thJune.  A separate letter has gone home to those pupils involved – we hope they play well.

Summer trips

We are all looking forward to our end of year class trips.  Please make sure that you have returned permission slips and contributions to the office. See separate letters for more details.
