COLLECTIVE WORSHIP

This week Classes 9 and 1 will lead our Lenten worship focussing on the Last Supper.


LENTEN PRAYER CHARTS

Each class is enjoying filling in their Lenten Prayer Chart each day.  Please ask your child when it’s their turn and ask them to share their prayer with you.


WORLD BOOK DAY

We will celebrate World Book Day on Friday next week.  Children will take part in exciting activities and can join in our Book Swap – see separate letter home for details.


OFSTED REPORT

We are yet to receive our report but will share it with you as soon as we do.


PTFA EASTER COFFEE MORNING

This year our Easter Coffee Morning will take place on Sunday 18th March.


SECONDARY PLACES

Secondary places for September 2018 will be confirmed online on Thursday 1st March.


PARENTS’ DROP-IN, EYFS LEARNING JOURNEYS

Please note our next drop-in is Mon 5th March 3-4pm, no appointment necessary, just turn up.


PARENTS’ COUNCIL MEETING

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Parents’ Council Meeting.


CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING

Well done and thank you to everyone who took part in the races this week at Towneley Park.


CLASS 2 ASSEMBLY

Mrs Hoggatt and her class will present their assembly to us on Friday 2nd March at 10am, celebrating World Book Week.  Please join us and stay for a cup of tea afterwards.

Maisie Helps won the Headteacher’s Award and Ethan Holmes was our Healthy Eater of the Week.  Jessica Hawke and Sofia Musso were our Writers of the Week.  Class 5 won the Attendance Award and Classes 1, 4 and 9 won the Golden Boot for having the most walkers.
