Sports Report from Mrs Stannard

Last week our Yr3/4 Athletics team went to Burnley Athletics Club to compete in a competition.  They took part in throwing, jumping and track events.  They worked well as a team and came 3rd.   Congratulations!

Also, three Yr 5 boys competed in the East Lancashire Cross Country Final at Towneley Park.  It was a tough course but they made us very proud by coming 36th, 39th and 81st; meaning that our school came 1st overall!!

Well done Ayaan, Joseph and Connor.
