Celebrating Lent at St John’s

This Lent, Bishop John encourages us to explore our vocation as baptised believers.  He says – ‘May God’s mercy flow like mountain streams.  May it bring us renewed hope so that we can live holy lives and may it carry us to a joyful celebration of the Risen Lord on Easter Sunday.’

In school, we will be taking part in our Lenten Lotto, and writing prayers for our illuminated Lenten Prayer Tree.  Please ask your child to tell you about these activities and try to find some time for Lenten prayers as a family.
