Classes 5 and 3 will lead our Lenten reflections next week. Throughout school, our Lenten Buddies continue to help and support each other. In class, we carry on using our Lenten Prayer Charts to focus on praying at this special time of our church’s year.

CLOSURE DUE TO SNOW
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding last week when we had adverse weather conditions. The decision to close school is never taken lightly and we endeavour to give you as much notice as possible.

SCHOOL BUILDING FUND
Thank you very much if you have contributed to our Salford Diocese Building Fund. If you haven’t already, we ask for a voluntary contribution of £10 per child or £15 per family if you have more than one child at St John’s.
YEAR 6 SCIENCE DAY AT BLESSED TRINITY
Children in Class 9 will spend the day at Blessed Trinity in the Science department next Monday – see separate letter for details.
Father Michael and Father Kevin will be in school next Tuesday and the following week for Reconciliation services with children in the juniors.
Our Full Governing Body meet next week on Tuesday evening. They will check on progress towards targets in our School Improvement Plan.
The travelling theatre company ‘Story Magic’ will be in school next Wednesday in the afternoon – we look forward to their performance.
PTFA EASTER COFFEE MORNING
This year our Coffee Morning will take place on Sun 18th March 10.30am-12.30pm. Please join us for lots of Easter treats and activities – see separate flyer for details.
CLASS 7 ASSEMBLY
Miss Pitman and her class will present their assembly to us on Friday 16th March at 10am. Please join us and stay for a cup of tea afterwards.
