Out of school visits form an important part of our teaching strategy and provide great opportunities to learn from first hand experience. Coaches with seat belts are used as transport.
All visits are planned components of the national curriculum. Full details and a consent slip are issued before each visit. On occasions spontaneous visits will be made during the school day to locations within the vicinity of the school eg to church, or round local roads. Supervision on all trips and visits is in accordance with local authority guidelines.
Unfortunately it is rarely possible to pay for educational visits entirely from school funds and without voluntary contributions from parents, the majority of visits cannot take place.
