Dear Parents and Carers

First week of reopening

Thank you very much for your support last week.  I hope you feel that your child’s return to school is going well.

Thank you for your patience at the start and end of the day.  I acknowledge that some of you are not happy with our arrangements but unfortunately at the moment I see no alternative.  Please be assured that as soon as we are able, we will return to more normal arrangements.  Please can I also ask you to park responsibly on the streets outside school as a number of residents have been unable to access their drives.

It has been lovely to see full classrooms and children enjoying being with their peers again.  I am very impressed with the way they are settling back into routines, thank you very much for helping to prepare them.

Children have been busy this week with activities celebrating International Women’s Day, Commonwealth Day and British Science Week.  I hope they have shared some of what they have learnt with you.

This week we are looking forward to our Comic Relief Talent Show and staff are planning events for Census Day and World Poetry Day later this half term.

Please get in touch via our office if you would like to speak to me or if there is anything you wish to discuss with your child’s class teacher.

Yours sincerely

Mrs S Price

Headteacher
