Sacramental Programme Meeting

Year 3 families are invitied to a meeting with Father David on Tuesday 14th January at 7pm in the parish rooms.  Please do attend if your child is baptised and you wish them to join the Sacramental Programme this year.

PTFA Christmas Fayre

Thank you very much to everyone who attended our Christmas Fayre.  It was lovely to see so many friends and family members in school.  A special thank you to PTFA members and staff for all their hard work.  You helped us to raise £803.53!

Christmas Concerts

Thank you very much if you have supported us by buying tickets for our concerts this year.  I do hope that everyone who wanted tickets was able to get them.  Please do bring your tickets on the day as seats are limited.  We hope you enjoy the shows!

Bishop John Mass at School

We are delighted to annouce that Bishop John will join us in school to celebrate the new term and year, and our joining the Romero Trust.  Please join us in school for the Mass on Thursday 16th January, 9.30am – all welcome.

Cash at St John’s

Please be advised that in the new year, we will be introducing a cashless system. School dinners, Breakfast and After School Club, trips etc will be paid for online.  We will give you more information and plenty of notice in the new year.

Musical assembly – guitars and violins

Family and friends of children currently having violin and guitar lessons are invited to school to hear them play on Monday 16th, 9.30am.

Raising Aspirations 

Next week we welcome Miss Bowker, Maths teacher from BTRCC.  She will speak to Year 6 children about her career in teaching.
