Parental Questionnaire

Thank you to everyone who completed our parental questionnaire during last week’s Parents’ Evening.  We are extremely pleased with the responses – please see separate letter home for details.


CAFOD – Live Simply

On Monday our Governor, Mrs Boutell will be in school to talk to us about CAFOD’s Live Simply award.  Initially, she will launch a colouring competition – more details to follow.


Yr 6 Science Enrichment event

Year 6 pupils will visit Blessed Trinity RCC on Tuesday 19th in the morning.  They will spend time in the Science department dissecting hearts.  We are sure they will find this fascinating! See separate letter for details.


Indoor athletics competition

Last week 12 pupils went to BTRCC to compete in the Indoor Athletics Competition with 8 other schools.  They all performed very well and we came first!  We are very proud of the team and wish them luck for the finals in December.


Nasal Flu Immunisations

Nasal flu immunisations will take place in school on Wednesday 20th November.


Poppy Appeal

Thank you very much to everyone who has supported our Poppy Appeal this year.


Listening to your child read at home

Please support your child’s progress in reading by listening to them read regulary at home.  Please also make sure that you complete their Reading Record and return to school each week.  


Yr 6 Measurements

Members of the School Nursing Team will be in school on Monday 18th November – a separate letter has gone out regarding this.


Mass at church

Please join us at church for Mass celebrating Quarante Ore next Friday, 22nd November 9.30am.  We will walk to and from church as usual.
