Advent
During the first week of Advent, we have been thinking about how we can prepare for Jesus’ coming at Christmas: ‘Be watchful, be alert!’ Mark 13:33-37
Reading Challenge
We’re delighted that even more children have achieved their Bronze Award for reading and reviewing 15 books:

Digimaps for Geographay
This year, we have subscribed to an online geography resource; ‘Digimaps for Schools’. Please contact the school office for login details.
Holidays 21-22
Our holiday list for next year (September 2021-July 2022) has been approved by our Governors and was sent to you via ParentPay last week. Please get in touch if you have any queries.
Reconciliation
Children in Year 4 on this year’s Sacramental Programme are celebrating the sacrament of Reconciliation next week. We wish them well.
Snowy weather
Whenever possible children will play out at breaktimes. If the weather is snowy, please send your child with wellies or boots to change into.
Covid-19 Risk Assessment
Thank you very much to everyone who is wearing a face covering on the paths and when coming into school. Please can you make sure that you stay 2 metres apart from one another. Thank you.

Christmas CAFOD donations
If your child is sending in a card for their class, we are suggesting that you send a 50p donation to CAFOD with it. Thank you for your support.
EYFS and Key Stage 1 Christmas performance
A letter will go out next week with details of this year’s performance. It won’t be performed live, but copies will be available for a small fee on DVD.
Poppy Appeal 2020
