Dear Parents and Carers
Good afternoon, I hope you are well. We have had another busy week in school. In this week’s Gospel reading from Mark, we heard the parable of the mustard seed. It reminds us that although God’s Kingdom started small with Jesus and the Disciples, it grows and grows and how by sharing God’s love we make it even bigger.
This week the following children received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. We are very proud of them for taking this next step in becoming full members of the Catholic Church: Nico Wilson, Vivienne McCarthy, Lucas Horgan, Kamilis Stonkus and Aston Guy.
Today all children took part in football outdoors and a range of other Euros-related activities as we celebrated UEFA Euros Day. Next week is National School Games Week. We will hold our School Games Day on Tuesday. Our whole-school Sports Day takes place later in the term (7th July).
Next week we are celebrating the Feast Day of St John the Baptist. Hopefully the weather will remain fine and we can work and worship outdoors.
Last Autumn we asked for your feedback on our plans for delivering our revised RSE (Relationship and Sex Education) scheme of work. I am attaching the information for you again, please get in touch if you have any further comments or would like to discuss it further.
